Harwood Hall – Central Otago Pinot Noir
Established in 2008, Harwood Hall is the result of a collaboration between two friends and former colleagues: Digger Hennessey and Corey Hall. Digger and Corey first met in 1996 and later went on to be chief winemakers at Mt Riley and Matua respectively. Pooling their resources, including Digger’s vineyard and Corey’s ‘Gem’ wine business, their aim was -and remains- to produce top quality New Zealand wines that are also affordable and approachable.
A beautiful Pinot Noir that is fresher than most from Otago – this combines lovely lifted red cherry perfumes with funky/sappy fermentation aromas and a pure core of red fruits.
