Egon Muller 2011
Egon Muller 2011 offer. The wines will be available end of May early June 2012.
My opinion is that 2011 was a phenomenal year at the Muller estate. Global warming is doing a lot of good to the Mosel wines with residual sugar. I am not so convinced about the dry wines, because of the high level of maturity some of the dry wines are too alcoholic for my taste.
I tasted all the wines and I was blown away. It is the very close to 2005, except may be a little bit less acidity, but the concentration and the fruit is just phenomenal across the board. Egon beat the world record of sugar levels achieved in Germany with the 2011 TBA, that is still fermenting.
